Santa Claus is coming to the Amite River at dusk with a holiday inspired Boat Parade. He will be stopping at Red's and Manny's for stockings and photos.

Get in the holiday spirit at the 42nd Annual Albany Volunteer Fire Department's Christmas Parade. The parade rolls on Saturday, December 6th at NOON. Bring the whole family and enjoy the day.

Santa's Chocolate Factory at the Historic Carter House in Springfield on Dec. 6 and 7 is the perfect holiday experience to share with your family and friends. There will be photos and story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, chocolate brunch with golden pancakes and chocolate dipped treats, a dazzling chocolate fountain, and an over-the-top hot chocolate bar. LIGHT UP LIVINGSTON-Sunday, December 7th at 5 PM in Circle Drive Park. Join us for music, hot cocoa, cookies, and fellowship — plus the little ones won’t want to miss the chance to see the big man himself, SANTA! The tree lighting will take place at dark.

Join us at the 17th Annual St Joseph Church Fair on Sunday, Dec. 7 in French Settlement from 9:30 am to 4:00 PM. It's a day of food, crafts, music and family fun. And of course, Santa Claus will be there from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Sheriff Jason Ard' Christmas Crusade is proud to present the Denham Springs Christmas Toyland Parade! The parade will begin at Denham Springs High school and end at Veterans Blvd. Our parade will run rain or shine.

The public is invited to Christmas Open House at the Historic Carter House on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This event is hosted by members of the Historic Carter House Society Inc. (HCHS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tours will be given so guests will learn some of the history of the plantation. Santa Clause will be there to hear the children’s Christmas wishes and Parents (and Grand Parents) are invited to take pictures. Before our guests leave they are invited to enjoy some refreshments in the dining room. And, please plan to shop for stocking stuffers/gifts we'll have for sale! Tickets will be sold at the door and cost $5.00 for adults, with children under the age of 12 admitted free. Our HCHS members are also admitted free. The proceeds from the open house go toward restoration work to the Carter House. Each ticket will be entered in a drawing for a door prize.
