Blue Ducky 5K Waddle

Blue Ducky 5K Waddle Join us for the 2nd annual Blue Ducky 5K Waddle, a heartfelt event honoring Stephany Nicolosi, a remarkable woman who helped save eight lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Stephany defied the odds daily, and her legacy lives on through this special race. Inspired by her love for the color blue and rubber duckies, this event donates a portion of proceeds to the Chris Klug Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about organ donation. Location & Course Set in the breathtaking Tickfaw State Park, runners and walkers will experience Louisiana’s natural beauty while supporting a great cause. The race follows a scenic out-and-back course along the park’s main entrance road, with portions on grass and pavement. The route passes serene water areas perfect for a post-run cool-down and finishes near the River Trailhead, with restrooms conveniently located at the start/finish line. While at Tickfaw State Park, take time to explore over a mile of boardwalks winding through four diverse ecosystems, visit the Nature Center’s 800-gallon aquarium, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Louisiana’s unique wildlife. Come waddle with us for a meaningful run in a stunning setting!
