Ranger Scarlet is excited to announce her first program!

Join us for a family friendly program focused on our state mammal: the Louisiana Black Bear! “The Bayou Bear Necessities” will take place July 18th at 10 AM inside of Tickfaw State Park’s Nature Center. Suitable for all ages, we’ll explore all things bear… what separates them from other black bear species, their conservation story, their diet, and so much more. This program also includes a sensory box activity.

Space is limited, so please arrive early to secure your seat.
