Start the New Year outdoors at Tickfaw State Park. Join us for a Ranger-Led First Day Hike on Friday, January 2—a perfect way to kick off the year surrounded by nature. First Day Hikes invite visitors of all ages to begin the new year on the right foot while exploring Louisiana’s great outdoors.

Meet at: Nature Center
Distance: ½-mile loop
Trail Surface: Boardwalk and gravel with a slight incline on a small portion
Ages: All ages welcome

• No pets or wagons
• Strollers not recommended due to gravel sections
• Not ADA accessible / no track chairs available
