Grand Country Junction
The newest Branson Style Show has arrived right here in the heart of Livingston Parish just north of Interstate 12 at exit 19 in Satsuma Louisiana at the Suma Crossing Theatre. Grand Country Junction is presented every third Saturday of the Month.
We take pride in providing entertainment in an environment where the entire family can enjoy an evening of southern hospitality and good music. We specialize in performing songs from the golden era of Country Music, New Country, 50s and Gospel. You’ll hear all of your favorite hits from artists like Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and many more! Old South Jamboree
The Old South Jamboree was started by Lester an Dee Hodges in the mid 1960’s It was started as a concert hall that the entire family could come to and enjoy good country music and a family environment. Most of the great artists have performed on the stage of the Old South including Merle Haggard, George Jones, Dolly Parton, Jerry Lee Lewis and many, many others. And now, some 45 years later, it is still a venue that you can bring your entire family to.
There is one main show at the Old South Jamboree every month. The show is hosted by Carlton Jones and The Red Hot Country Band. The shows is the first Saturday of every month at 7 pm. Doors open at 5:30, and tickets are still $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6 – 12 and free for kids under 6.
The Original Old South Jamboree features “Carlton Jones and His Red Hot Country Band” first Saturday of the month. Carlton plays guitar and sings, and the other members of the band include some of the area’s best musicians – Randy Blackwell on steel guitar, Robert Reynolds on Drums and vocals, Kelly Kemp on guitar and keyboard, Jeremy Downey on vocals and keyboard, Eddie Warren on bass and vocals, Larry and Maxine Whitfield singing vocals and back-up vocals.
Wholly Ground Coffee “Open Mic Night”
Walker’s first and only coffee house and live music venue! We got your standard coffee, fancy coffee, and all the fixin’s. Plus great food and quality service! Wholly Ground Coffee hosts an Open Mic Worship Night the second Friday of every month starting at 7pm. There are usually over 20 different performers on any given Open Mic Night and more than 200 people in attendance. This is a great venue to display your talents and connect with other talented artist.
